We've had a max 8-10" of snow over the Christmas period - a heck of a lot more than last year, but it is slowly melting. Now its at the strange slushy stage, but its welcome. The temperature has dipped as low as -15C over the last fortnight, so the 5-7C its been for the last few days has been most welcome.

We've spent the last few days preparing for the new room (mainly shopping for the things to put in there!), but which we hope to have available from March(ish) - once the plumbing and decorating have been done. Its all down to the weather and if builders can make an appearance - should the weather decide to turn nasty again!
