FAQ – Campsite
We get a lot of phone calls asking lots of questions, so have a read before you phone or email us… (This is accurate as of Aug 6th 2020.)
Are the toilets and showers open?
Yes. All Wales shared facilities has been allowed to open since 25th July.
Do you have Availability?
Our calendar is up-to-date at all times, so please click HERE, enter your date on the right and follow the instructions.
Do the fire pits come with wood?
Yes, there’s enough wood to last you all evening – so long as you don’t have lots of flames!
Can we bring a gazebo?
Yes, each pitch is fairly large, with plenty of room to spread out. We don’t charge extra.
What does a pitch include?
Each pitch price is for 2 adults and up to 5 children. We only charge extra for adults or additional cars.
Can we have a hardstanding?
We only have one space which we call our hardstanding, and the EHU links to either the gravel area or the grass area. You must specifically ask for this pitch when booking.
Is your site suitable and do you accept campervans?
Yes. We call our grass field gently sloping. The area with EHU pitches is slightly sloping, as they can all adjust to get very level, where the standard pitches (mainly for tents) is slightly flatter. If you need power for your motorhome or caravan, you need to book a pitch with EHU (Electric Hook Up).
Are dogs allowed?
Absolutely. We always welcome well-behaved dogs.
Do you accept groups?
Yes, although this is a quiet countryside campsite, with lots of children so we expect groups to be considerate of other campers – no loud music please. If you’re planning to come as a family group, please let us know. Better yet, make one booking with all your pitches, so we know who is together – then we will do our best to keep you together, it makes our life easier – if you all book separately, we may not be able to accommodate you together. Thank you.
