Fire Safety & Emergencies

In the interests of safety, we ask that all guests familiarise themselves with the fire procedures at Gwaenynog; floor plans with rooms clearly marked – see below. Each room has a smoke/heat detector in the ceiling, which is linked to the rest of the house. The alarm is a very loud continuous siren, so in the event of activation, please make your way to the yard at the side of the house, by the car park.

There are emergency lights on the landing and in the hallway to guide you to the front door, should the power go off as well. In addition, there is a wind-up torch in the bedside cabinet in the event of a power failure.

If we are out for any reason, please contact us on 07737 360104. Unless it’s a fire, in which case, call the Fire Brigade on 999 – then us!
